Jet values and lease rates November 2005

The following tables reflect the current values (not “fair market”) and lease rates for narrowbody and widebody jets. The figures are from The Aircraft Value Analysis Company (contact details opposite) and reflect AVAC’s opinion of the worth of the aircraft.

These figures are not solely based on market averages, but also such factors as re–marketing value, number in service, number on order and backlog, projected life span, etc. In the near term, the outlook remains positive but in the medium term, the arrival of new types offering greater efficiency will take their toll on existing types.
