Airbus and Boeing orderbooks Jan/Feb 2013
Much as Airbus broke sales records with its A320neo in 2011, Boeing re-wrote its own sales records with the 737MAX in 2012. Net orders for the 737NG and the new MAX totalled 1,124 aircraft, beating the previous single year record of 846 orders set in 2007.
The beleaguered 787 recorded net sales of minus 12, the result of 50 new orders and 62 cancellations.
